Photo requirement for permanent resident（PR）application

1. You can have a color or black and white photo.
2. The photo shows your head and shoulder.
3. The photo size needs to be 50mm x 70mm, where the head measures 31 – 36mm in height.
4. Maintain a neutral expression, no smiling.
5. A white background is required
6. The photo must be taken at a photography studio.
7. On the back of the photo, you should have 2 copies: one with a blank back, and the other with the following information:
   • Name and date of birth
   • Name and address of the photography studio
   • Date of the photo session
8. The information on the back can either be stamped by the photography studio or handwritten, but simply affixing an information label is not acceptable.
